This Shoot: Each July 4th in Portland, fireworks are set off downtown on the Willamette River between the Hawthorne and Marquam Bridges. These fireworks photos from July 4th, 2004, were shot from the Ross Island Bridge, where there were very few people. In 2005, I shot the fireworks again, from the banks of the river at OMSI, which was crowded with people - a very different feel.
