I'm a photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I'm mostly self-taught (after a few classes at Portland Community College) and have developed my photography over the years through lots of trial and error. I shoot mostly with digital cameras these days but have also shot 35mm in the past.

I shoot scenery mostly in Portland and in the Pacific Northwest, but I also love to travel in Europe and have posted a lot of my European pictures on this website as well.

Why bridges? Maybe it's the engineer in me (I have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering)! I appreciate both the beauty and the utility of well-designed bridges, particularly when they blend well with the surroundings. I'm actually not obsessed with bridges, believe it or not, though my web site may indicate otherwise!
